It’s really a matter of personal preference and values since the two diets are diametrically opposed. Several years ago, I tried a vegan diet, but felt tired and starving constantly. Last year, I went keto and it was transformative for me. Also, I gained weight, so I realized that my body has a need for meat and dairy. My energy levels went up, headaches and inflammation went away, and I lost lots of weight. Now, I go in and out of keto and I must say when I am in, I feel so much better.
